Abstract
This progress report documents the activities and outcomes of the NFDI Section (Meta)data, Terminologies, Provenance - Working Group Ontology Harmonization and Mapping (WG Onto) for the period January 2023 to December 2025. It covers governance development, the cross-consortia terminology inventory, evaluation and endorsement of tools and standards (SSSOM, ODK, Semantic Farm), international collaborations (RDA FAIR Mappings WG, CDIF), and engagement with NFDIcore ontology development. The report also compares original work plan objectives against actual achievements and outlines planned deliverables for 2026.
