Abstract
Therapies containing the hypomethylating agents (HMA) decitabine (DEC) or azacitidine (AZA) are standard of care for patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) ineligible for intensive chemotherapy. However, initially responsive disease eventually develops secondary resistance [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ].
