1× Christian von Haldenwang is a senior researcher and project lead with the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS). He has published on taxation, decentralisation and urban governance, digitalisation, and legitimacy. He is the co-lead of the Tax Expenditures Lab project, hosting both the Global Tax Expenditures Database and the Global Tax Expenditures Transparency Index. He is also the co-lead of a German–French research project on tax expenditures and the fiscal contract (TEFISCON), in cooperation with Université Clermont Auvergne. From 2003 to 2007 he was GTZ programme coordinator at UN-ECLAC in Santiago de Chile. Von Haldenwang holds an MA in Political Science and Philosophy and a PhD in Political Science from the University of Tübingen (Germany)
