Abstract

These workshop materials were developed to facilitate an exploration of the ECS Citizen Science Competency Framework at the Dutch national Open Science Festival 2026, during the session entitled: Recognising citizen science as academic practice: embedding competencies into institutional career systems Join us for an interactive session where we work together to make citizen science a recognized part of academic careers using the Citizen Science Competency Framework.
