Abstract

Experiment and evaluation code for the dissertation "A Concept for Consistent Semantic Matching across Distributed Industrial Data Systems" by Sebastian Heppner (RWTH Aachen University), building on the codebase NLP-Based Semantic Matching Service by Moritz Sommer. The code embeds ECLASS concept definitions with two embedding models, computes pairwise similarity scores, analyses transitivity (triangle inequality) violations in the resulting semantic match graphs, and evaluates a metric alignment optimizer that combines both models.
