Abstract

*This deliverable has not yet been officially approved by the European Commission and should be considered a draft Overall, this work provides a structured and extensible foundation for protocol and data interoperability in SCADA systems. By combining standardized communication protocols, flexible middleware-based translation, virtualization-enabled platform independence, and ontology-driven data management, the InterSCADA interoperability framework contributes to the realization of next-generation SCADA systems capable of supporting complex, distributed, and hybrid power-system operation.
