Data for : Prey wrapping behaviour in spiders: Evolution, Silk use and Ecology.

Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research)

Abstract

This dataset contains all files and code necessary to reproduce the phylogenetic comparative analyses presented in the study "Prey wrapping behaviour in spiders: Evolution, Silk use and Ecology. " (Jani et al., 2026). It includes all R scripts for model fitting, ancestral character estimation, stochastic character mapping, and sensitivity analyses; phylogenetic tree files; and the trait matrix containing wrapping behaviour scores and ecological guild classifications for all 113 species included in the study. All files are provided as-is and are sufficient to fully replicate the results reported in the main manuscript and supplementary information.
