Abstract

Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulations have become a key tool for investigating ion transport in solids. In a previous article [1] we brought together for the SSI community some important issues concerning how to prepare, carry out, and analyse MD simulations of ion transport-issues that in our view had received insufficient attention. In two places in our article, however, there are some statements for which the scope of validity was not made clear. In order to avoid any misinterpretation (and to fulfil more duly our aim of providing a useful guide), we have written this correction.
