DMP4NFDI Outreach Support Concept

Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research)

Abstract

The DMP4NFDI Outreach Support Concept defines a framework for supporting NFDI consortia in promoting data and software management services and fostering their adoption within their research communities. It outlines the support options provided by DMP4NFDI and the rationale for their implementation, building on previous collaborations and ongoing exchange with NFDI consortia. The concept follows a needs-based approach and uses short-term incubator projects as the primary mechanism for targeted outreach support. The measures include community engagement, needs assessment, capacity building, cross-consortium collaboration, and broader outreach activities to facilitate the onboarding of interested consortia. Together, these measures provide flexible support that can be adapted to the specific requirements and contexts of NFDI consortia. This publication covers deliverable 2.1, "Concept for outreach support," of the DMP4NFDI integration phase proposal.
