Elmericium Spirin & Malysheva

Abstract

Elmericium Spirin & Malysheva, MycoKeys 120: 348, 2025 Note. For a description, see Spirin et al. (2025). Generic type. Elmericium alabastrinum Spirin & Malysheva. This genus was recently introduced as monotypic, with the East Asian E. alabastrinum as the sole species (Spirin et al. 2025). Here we expand it with the newly described E. spinosum from Africa (see Suppl. material 5).
