Abstract
EbsdMagus is a workflow manager for EMsoft-based EBSD simulation campaigns. It provides a single YAML campaign configuration, Snakemake-based orchestration, SQLite-backed provenance tracking, artifact reuse, cluster submission support, and recovery tools for long-running HPC workflows. The package is designed to make Monte Carlo, master pattern, and screen pattern simulations reproducible, inspectable, and easier to resume after scheduler, node, or filesystem failures.
