Litarachna denhami
Abstract
Litarachna denhami (Lohmann, 1909) Material examined— Kenya, - 4.363770ºS, 39.56205ºE, collected on sea gras on sandy bottom, 2♀ (sequenced) 3 Jan. 2022 leg. Zawal, 1♀ dissected and slide mounted (RMNH). Remarks —The females examined from the Kenyan coast match the description of L. denhami provided by Wiles et al. (2002), who described the female of this species from South Africa. The specimens molecularly examined in this study form a unique BIN (BOLD:AGH8826). Distribution —Western Australia (Smit 2003), India (Pešić et al. 2008), the Red Sea (K. O. Viets 1959), South Africa (Wiles et al. 2022). New for Kenya.
