Abstract

Parallelodon dilatatus De Koninck, 1885 Original source De Koninck (1885): 160, pl. 24 figs 46–47. Type stratum and age “calcaire carbonifère de Visé (étage III)”; V3b and V3c, Visean, Mississippian, Carboniferous (Demanet 1958: 29; Godefroid et al. 2006). Type locality “ Visé ”; quarries south of Visé, on the east side of the Meuse River valley (Demanet 1958; Godefroid et al. 2006), Belgium. Type material The illustrated syntype is inventoried at the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, Brussels (RBINS a4722), but the specimen could not be found and is potentially lost.
