Abstract

Parallelodon mytiloides De Koninck, 1885 Original source De Koninck (1885): 160, pl. 24 fig. 38. Type stratum and age “calcaire carbonifère de Visé (étage III)”; V3b and V3c, Visean, Mississippian, Carboniferous (Demanet 1958: 29; Godefroid et al. 2006). Type locality “ Visé ”; quarries south of Visé, on the east side of the Meuse River valley (Demanet 1958; Godefroid et al. 2006), Belgium. Type material The illustrated syntype is stored at the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, Brussels, coll. no. RBINS a4721 (old no. 966; coll. de Ryckholt).
