Nemodon Conrad, 1869 Original source Conrad (1869): 97. Type species Arca (Macrodon) eufalensis Gabb, 1860; by original designation. Cretaceous, United States of America (New Jersey). Gender Male. Remarks Originally no classification indicated; according to Newell (1969) part of the “ Cucullaria group” of the parallelodontid subfamily Grammatodontinae; according to Carter et al. (2011) part of the tribe Nemodontini (Parallelodontidae: Grammatodontinae).
