Abstract
This repository contains the dataset and R script associated with the forthcoming study Usage of Cognitive Learning Strategies: Relations with Perceived Effectiveness, Academic Self-Efficacy and Academic Performance. The study examined the use of twelve cognitive learning strategies among first-year medical students, students’ perceptions of the effectiveness of these strategies for both short- and long-term outcomes, and how strategy use relates to academic self-efficacy and academic performance. LSQ2This dataset contains questionnaire data on learning strategy usage, perceived effectiveness, and academic self-efficacy, as well as students’ grades. ScriptR_LearningStrategyUse_Effectiveness_OutcomesThis file contains the complete R script used to analyse the dataset. The script includes explanations of all variables, Dutch-to-English translations, and explanations of acronyms used in the dataset.
