FutuRaM Recovery Model - Code and Supporting Documents
Zenodo (CERN European Organization for Nuclear Research)
Abstract
In the FutuRaM project, material flow analysis was conducted for waste electric an electronic equipment, waste batteries, end-of-life vehicles, construction and demolition waste from buildings and wind turbines, and slags and ashes including stock and flow models (from POM to waste generated or collected) and recovery models (from waste generated or collected to secondary raw materials). For the recovery models, a harmmonized structure and code was developed which was used for three of the waste streams in scope (waste electric an electronic equipment, waste batteries and end-of-life vehicles). This entry includes: FutuRaM Recovery Model Code (link to repository URL) - used for waste electric an electronic equipment (WEEE), waste batteries (BATT) and end-of-life vehicles (ELV) Supporting Documents Flow charts for waste electric an electronic equipment (WEEE), waste batteries (BATT), end-of-life vehicles (ELV), construction and demolition waste (CDW) from buildings and wind turbines, and slags and ashes (SLASH) (incl. both stock and flow models and recovery models; system boundary indicated in flow charts) List of modelled stocks and flows with origin and destination process (incl. both stock and flow models and recovery models) Applied transfer coefficients datasets can be found under related works
