Abstract

We live in an era of multimessenger astronomy, meaning that various instruments operating at multiple electromagnetic and non-electromagnetic wavelengths cooperate to collect data. In computational astrophysics, we have the concepts of multiscale and Multiphysics modeling, which are the equivalents of multimessenger astronomy. Here, we discuss the fundamental aspects that enable multimessenger computational astrophysics. Fundamental parts include data handling, communication, unit conversion, and scaling.
