Abstract

Camacinia gigantea (Brauer, 1867) Selected references: Camacinia gigantea (Brauer, 1867);— Karsch 1891: 245 (first record from Sumatra: North Sumatra). Specimens collected. M5a: 1 ♀ (RER23 _ LIB299; BRIN), 28 ix 2023; Remarks. Recorded from Riau Province for the first time. In addition to the female collected, two males were seen at location P6c on 23 ix 2023. The female was collected while flying over the main channel of Sungai Sangar and might have been far from its breeding habitat.
