Abstract

Orolestes wallacei (Kirby, 1889) Selected references: Lestes udeana Krüger, 1898;— Krüger 1898: 127 (first record from Sumatra: North Sumatra). Orolestes wallacei (Kirby, 1889);— Dow et al. 2018: 7 (first record from Riau). Specimens collected. M1b: 1 ♀ (RER20 _ LES4; RER), 22 i 2020; M1e: 1 ♀ (RER20 _ LES5; BRIN), teneral, 26 i 2020; M4a: 1 ♂ (RER20 _ LES1; RER), 14 i 2020; 1 ♂ (RER20 _ LES2; BRIN), 14 i 2020; 1 ♂ (RER20 _ LES3; UMRI), 14 i 2020; M4b: 1 ♂ (RER23 _ LES1; UMRI)), 8 ii 2023. Remarks. All individuals collected in the Kampar Peninsula were found in PSF. In the atypically dry conditions of January 2020 a number of males were found along the long trail in PSF at location M4 despite the almost total lack of water at the time.
