Remarks. This is the true P. interrupta (as opposed to the Bornean taxon that has been treated as P. interrupta, see Note 27 in Dow et al. 2024). Although not confined to low pH waters it thrives in them and is generally present on forest streams and on some stream-like sections of canal in forest in the peninsula.
