A Healthy Start

Jeugd in Ontwikkeling

Abstract

Abstract The mental health of young people is under pressure, as evidenced by (inter)national research and reports. Despite efforts in schools to improve young people’s mental wellbeing, the impact remains limited. With Healthy Start, we aim to address this issue using a transdisciplinary approach, through collaboration with all stakeholders. By involving young people, their immediate environment, and policymakers, we aim to find solutions that take all perspectives into account. The goal is to develop a scientifically supported approach that helps young people feel seen, heard, and supported in their mental well-being.
