Abstract
This edition of SIGLOG News features a report on the PICS (Probability in Computer Science) Ph.D. school in Copenhagen. PICS was the fifth edition of the School Series "Foundations of Programming and Software Systems" (FoPSS) that was jointly created by EATCS, ETAPS, ACM SIGLOG and ACM SIGPLAN. The first FoPPS edition was organized in Braga in 2017. The goal of the FoPPS School Series is to introduce the participants to various aspects of computation theory and programming languages.
