Bidirectional CAN-Interface Using Inductive Transmission
Abstract
The design of a bidirectional communication interface with inductive transmission is presented. This particular system is designed to be integrated into the mechanical interface of a modular transportation system. For the communication between these two modules of the transport system, digital signals are processed to enable inductive transmission. These digital signals are based on the CAN protocol. The system used in this application offers a high transmission quality of the CAN signal. It is also highly resistant to mechanical displacement and interference.
