Approaching Standardization: Mechanical Material Testing of Macroscopic Two‐Photon Polymerized Specimens (Adv. Mater. 34/2024)
Advanced Materials, vol. 36
Abstract
Material Properties of Two-Photon Polymers With adaptive resolution two-photon polymerization (2PP) the fabrication of macroscopic material test specimens becomes possible. By combining conventional or even standardized testing methods and micromaterial testing, a comprehensive characterization of the mechanical, thermomechanical and fracture properties of materials processed with 2PP is possible. This study shows that 2PP delivers highly crosslinked polymers immediately after 3D printing without the need for post-curing.
