Electrical resistivity on tree trunks

Abstract

Electrical resistivity is an increasingly used geophysical method to study the dynamics of sap-flow movements inside trees. Most existing studies that use this method either (1) do not model the 3D geometry or (2) do not account for prior knowledge about the interior structure of trees, such as the sapwoodhardwood separation.
