Flexible Electronics With Two-Dimensional and Layered Chalcogenide Compounds
IEEE Electron Devices Technology & Manufacturing Conference (EDTM), pp. 1–3
Abstract
In this paper, I will introduce layered chalcogenide compounds for applications in flexible electronics such as field-effect transistors, sensors, solar cells, and memory. First, I will discuss two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides and their integration onto flexible substrates. Our novel fabrication approach enables high-performance devices on few-urn thick polyimide. Then I will outline the advantages of electro-thermal engineering for flexible superlattice phase-change memory. Overall, our versatile materials integration platform promises future low-power and high-performance flexible electronics.
