Front Cover: Characterization of Fluorescent Proteins with Intramolecular Photostabilization**
ChemBioChem, vol. 22, pp. 3234
Abstract
The cover picture provides an artistic impression of the green fluorescent protein, which is covalently linked to azobenzene. The linkage of the two molecules results in bright emission signals and improved photostability as seen by single-molecule spectroscopy. The cover artwork was provided by Gabriel Moya, a Ph.D. student in the Cordes laboratory at the LMU Biocenter (Munich, Germany). More information can be found in the Full Paper by T. Cordes et al.
