Homogeneous bases for Demazure modules

Abstract

We study the PBW filtration on the Demazure modules Vrγ(λ) associated to reflections rγ at positive roots in type An, long roots in type Cn, short roots in type Bn and positive roots not involving the simple root αn−1 in type Dn. In each type, we construct a normal polytope labeling a basis for the associated graded space grVrγ(λ) and prove that the annihilating ideal of grVrγ(λ) is a monomial ideal.
