Device and method for gas exchange between first exchange medium and second gaseous exchange medium
Abstract
The invention relates to a method and a device for gas exchange between a first exchange medium and a second gaseous exchange medium, comprising an exchange unit having an exchange chamber (1) arranged in a housing of the exchange unit, said chamber being divided into two chamber regions by at least one membrane (2), a first side of the membrane (2) can be brought into contact with a first exchange medium in a first chamber region, a second side of the membrane (2) can be brought into contact with a second gaseous exchange medium in a second chamber region, and the first chamber region has a connection for the first exchange medium via which the first chamber region is connected to a first line (3), the first chamber region has a first line (4), by means of which a first exchange medium can be conducted through the first chamber region, and the second chamber region has an interface for a gaseous second exchange medium, via which interface the second chamber region is connected to a second line (4), by means of which the second exchange medium can be conducted through the second chamber region, the gas to be exchanged can be transferred by diffusion through the membrane (2), and the device comprises a pressure generating device (9a), by means of which a pressure difference of the second exchange medium relative to the ambient atmospheric pressure can be generated in the second chamber region, the pressure difference having a value of at least 10 mmHg, the at least one membrane (2) has diffusion permeability and convection impermeability for the gas to be exchanged.
