METAL DETECTOR
Abstract
To provide a metal detector that solves or partially solves an issue that a mixture or a metal foreign metal which is smaller than a predetermined size cannot be detected.SOLUTION: The metal detector includes at least one transmission coil and at least one reception coil. The transmission coil and the reception coil are each arranged in one flat surface having a normal vector perpendicular to the flat surface. The transmission coil and the reception coil are connected to a measurement device. A product is carried through the metal detector along a rate vector. The rate vector and at least one of the normal vector of the transmission coil and the normal vector of the reception coil forms an angle α larger than 0°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
