Method for chirality analysis
Abstract
35 ABSTRACT: 5 The invention provides a method for analyzing the chirality of a molecular species, wherein the molecular species is arranged in a photonic nanostructure, and wherein the molecular species is exposed to probe radiation having a probe radiation wavelength, wherein the method comprises: an exposure stage comprising (i) alternatingly provide left-circularly polarized heating radiation and right-circularly polarized heating radiation to the molecular species, and 10 (ii) detecting the propagation of the probe radiation downstream of the molecular species to provide a propagation signal, and a chirality analysis stage comprising analyzing the chirality of the molecular species based on the propagation signal.
